Like most reviewers with good things to say, I WANTED light-weight. I wear a head sock on my noggin under my helmet just like I wears socks on my feet inside my boots. A headsock (balaclava or whatever) fits in the laundry much better than my helmet, and at $4 vs $400, a sock is easier to replace than my Shoei. This is NOT wind resistant much less windproof as described. The terrible fit of the mouth/nose mesh ruins any hope of wind deflection. This is light. That's the only good thing I can say.The face piece or mouth covering is a design fail. While the rest of the garment is form fitting, the mouth is some horrid piece of semi-rigid mesh that cannot be conformed to a human face and subsequently forces every exhale up, past the nose bridge and directly onto the visor (fogging the same). That problem exists until you hurdle past the dangerous speed of 2.3 MPH (not tested at 2.3 Mach, in case you wanted to try these at Bonneville). Some where between 2 and 2.5 mph, these things magically reverse airflow, pulling air from everywhere (except the visor which despite being the $84 upgraded fog-resistive continues to fog) and then down through the mouth-mesh to exit through the neck.I actually pulled over at my 5th stoplight and changed to a painter's spray hood (HDX Spray Sock Hood from the "Depot") and deposited the 1st of my 6-pack in the gas-station trash can. the remaining 5 were donated to my local charitable thrift-store. Not even worth the effort and paper waste to return.
