It’s a bit large, but my son has growing to do so it should be fine.I bought what I thought was going to be a nice thick ski jacket from Amazon for $60, but after wearing it a few times realized it was not going to hold up after hitting the mountains a few times. I decided to go with this, even though it's super expensive. But it's an investment, and one that's totally worth it. This jacket kept me so comfortably warm all day on with just an underarmour base layer, and a thin overshirt as a middle layer, with weather high of 16 F, and low of 7 F. It fits like a dream and and has all the perks you would want from a ski jacket, not to mention how awesome it looks. If you're planning on skiing for years to come, this is everything you could want out of a ski jacket.Jacket does what it needs to do. It is comfortable and keeps me dry and warm.Excellent quality, arrived at least a week before plannedBought mine in Spider store. The "water tight" zippers are glued to the shell from the inside. This glue decays and lets the zipper off from the shell. Terrible quality. Not worth the money. False hype about this brand.Spyder's customer service is surprisingly not good. My leader jacket's zipper failed. I sent it in at my cost (around $50) and it took them a long time to send it back. I swear they did not replace the zipper as they said they did. The main zipper still does not work. Now I'm trying to do another warranty claim with Spyder and they're giving me the runaround. It's been almost 6 weeks since I started this process and meanwhile I'm without a jacket.Lovely Spyder jacket.
