Great bag to keep the skis together and add a coat and pants to. There is minimal padding in the center section, but the ends are heavy nylon. Airport has beat it up twice and still looks like new. I use my coat and pants to pad the ends and fill out the bag, not necessary, but it reduces how much gets crammed into my boot bag. The zipper is pretty heavy duty, and after 2 trips, it is still perfect. Well worth the $$ to me
