I really like the vibrant colors and the material of these hoods. I like everything about these except the length in the front. They expose the base of the neck if you wear something with a chin strap that prevents them from hanging straight down in the front. I’d like them to be at least three inches longer in the front so they could contour to the chin and neck and not leave a gap when using a chin strap—then they would be perfect. I am keeping them because I wear shirts that have a standup collar that keeps most of my neck covered. I just have to be sure that I am very careful when tightening the strap to my hat that I don’t pull the bottom of the hood up and create a gap between the bottom of the hood and my shirt collar. It’s a delicate balance of keeping the neck covered but still being able to pull it up over the nose and cheeks.
