So it's a decent winter jacket, the wrists don't taper but they do have the velcro to cinch in the wrists as needed. It seems warm enough so far. I didn't get to test the waterproofing or if it works in really cold temperatures (0°F or less). The inner coat does have to be turned "inside-out" to zip to the outer shell. It also has a few button clasp anchors for the arms and neck. The inner being turned inside out means you can use its pockets as inner pockets. It does then make the one inner pocket on the outer shell hard to use with the inner. There are quite a few long threads from the end of the seams and stitching but that seems fixable enough. There is a stitch in the armpit I need to check out because there is excess string hanging out on the right armpit that is part of the seam.Still a better buy than whatever Walmart was trying to sell for the same price this year.
