I bought this first in a large, but I found the hood to be too big, flopping over my face. I bought the medium and planned on returning the large, but love them so much, I’m keeping them both! My weight fluctuates, so on some days I can zip up the medium, some days I can’t. When I’m wearing the large, I put my pajamas on, put this onesie on, and take the dog out. When I have the medium on, I don’t have to put any clothes on, I put it on, and I am still warm enough. Also bought it in pink, but the pink is more a Pepto-Bismol pink, not a pale pink. So I’m not pleased with that. Even so, I have three of these,! I keep the pink one in Chicago, and I use the two black ones in St. Louis. Right now I’m sitting outside with my dog, in the backyard, because I have an injured foot. I am warm and this is such a dealbreaker. I couldn’t imagine not wearing it. Walking the dog, when he decides to wake me up at five in the morning, in the cold, was horrendous. Now, I don’t mind walking him as much.Again, the medium is a bit snug. And the large is a little roomy, but wearable(OMG I sound like Goldilocks). The only thing I don’t like about the large is the hood flops down. Probably best to wear a hat, and then the hood over.
