This jacket is awesome!! I live in Montana so I got to test it out in the cold. While it was -18/-20 I was out shoveling snow, all I had underneath the jacket was a t-shirt. It kept me warm throughout the chore, also I used it all winter and it kept me warm. I am very happy with this purchase! The only, only complaint is, that while it says it's supposed to be a gray color mine was more of a navy blue. But I still like it. I wish they had a black version because I would buy one immediately!Pretty, warm, comfortable, has most features of more expensive jackets. I wish zippers were more sturdy but so far they hold well. Fully satisfied!Really fell in love with this jacket. Bought it for big mountain skiing and it is very warm. Have only used it with a base layer. I think a mid layer might be too much but it does have vents that can be unzipped which make a huge difference. It's taken a beating in nasty weather while riding the lifts to summit. Hood fits over helmet perfectly. Snow skirt keeps out drafts as much as snow. Would buy again.I needed a larger size, once i got the correct size. I wore it in Colorado Snowmobiling, tubing, skiing. This is a great jacket. I recommend. Since its a UK jacket - remember the zipper is backwards. I use this jacket for snowboarding and it has everything I need including an inner pocket for my phone. I'm easy to be spotted and it keeps me warm on the cold winter days. Being 6'4" and 220 lbs, the XL fits me well.This ski jacket is warm, comfortable and functional both on and off the slopes. Compared to the major brand alternatives that sell for $400 and more, this Glactic jacket is a bargain. The only issue I would alert buyers to is the plastic main zipper. It is not designed to be a strong hold and can split open when forced. As such, best get sizes that are roomy enough for the wearer so as not to put too much stress on the zip.Fantastic ski jacket. Pictures don't do it justice. 6 pockets in total plus an internal mesh pouch for goggles, etc. Has all of the features of a $500-600 ski jacket. Has an internal media pocket with wire pass-through for headphones that isn't mentioned in description. Very warm and insulated, waterproof/windproof. Very satisfied customer!My last ski jacket was really giving up after 5+ yrs heavy use. Despite being happy with my old budget jacket I thought I would spend a little more. I’ve been impressed with Mountain Warehouse items before and this jacket is no exception. It is warm but not overly thick. I thought it was chilly originally then realised the under-arm ventillation zips were open!The best part is all the pockets...they are everywhere! I really hope all the zips last...so far so good. Also the interior lining is very soft. My only slight disappointment was the limited colour options. Still getting use to black+orange trim.This Jacket was honestly perfect.Comfortable to wear.Large enough pockets to bring anything you might need whilst skiing and a pocket on the wrist for your skii pass.Cool enough when it is warm on the slopes (if you open the vents) and warm enough if you get caught in a snow storm.This skii jacket ticks all the boxes for me.I used my jacket on a recent ski holiday. I can say that it definitely works well. It’s a warm jacket for cold days, it keeps you dry on wet days and has sufficient venting for warmer days. There are enough pockets for bulky items, wallets and lift passes. It looks pretty good too. Most of the people I ski with wear big name jackets, this does the job at a third of the price.I purchased a Mountain Warehouse Galactic Extreme Mens Ski Jacket -Warm Waterproof Winter Coat and I am so glad I did, well made, and very good value for money- Very impressed.Note they are a generous fit I got a size down from what i am and it fitted perfectly.Having checked the sizing on Mountain Warehouse’s website, a large was recommended. I was surprised to find just how big this jacket was when it arrived!! It was huge!! Needless to say it’s been returned and a medium has been orderedIt is a great jacket, well made, good styling, just go down a size if you don’t want to drown in it
